With immediate effect, CSC certified recycling-concrete with the additional R-Module scores points in DGNB certifications.
The German Sustainable Building Council has recognized the CSC R-Modul, which has been introduced in June 2020, in the DGNB Credit for Responsible Sourcing of Construction Materials.
With this, CSC certified concrete with a recycled aggregate content of 10% or higher directly scores points in the DGNB Credit ENV1.3 at quality level 2.2 (Use of certified secondary raw materials).
With more than 5’000 certificates in 29 countries, the DGNB System is a globally leading and most advanced green building label. It is the No 1 green building certification system in Germany.
The CSC certificate for recycling concrete is another important step to provide transparent performance information about the responsible sourcing of concrete, and to connect this with leading green building labels such as the DGNB System.
