Hanson Hispania Hormigones is part of the HeidelbergCement Group and successfully renewed CSC certification at the level Silver for its Zona Franca Plant in Barcelona, Spain. CSC certification at level Silver was also achieved for the first time for the Montcada plant in the greater Barcelona area.
“We recently implemented several energy savings measures which helped reducing our CO2 emissions” says Antonia Navarro, Quality Manager at Hanson Hispania Hormigones. “We have also engaged in life cycle assessment of our products and are very proud to see that our efforts enabled us to improve our CSC scoring.”
