The Calcestruzzi SpA plants in Bari Industriale and Napoli Casalnuovo have obtained CSC certification according to CSC system version 2.0.
They are the first concrete plants in Southern Italy to have obtained this important recognition.
The plants achieved CSC certification at the level Silver with the recognition of Exemplary Performance for Life Cycle Assessment.
The Bari and Naples plants are added to the certified ones of Peschiera Borromeo (MI), Cologno Monzese (MI) and Genoa Chiaravagna and the Calusco d’Adda (BG) cement plant and confirm the commitment of Calcestruzzi and Italcementi to sustainability.
Italcementi and Calcestruzzi are both part of the HeidelbergCement Group.
